We just found out that the Annual Strawberry Festival is happening in Stacyville, Maine at the Sherman Area Memorial VFW Post 2299 , in Stacyville,Maine. No worries, there is still time to attend and plenty to do.
*** TONIGHT: The Ham/Bean supper is on and includes a delicious Strawberry Shortcake
*** FULL DAY FESTIVAL PROGRAM FOR SUNDAY:
9:00 AM – HORSESHOE TOURNAMENT- $10 entry – 2 classes. Pick of the draw. Cash prizes given.
11:00-3:00 PM – YARD SALE (from auction)
11:00-3:00 PM- HOT DOGS
1:00 PM- SUBMIT ENTRY FOR KIDS CUPCAKE CONTEST (Judging @3pm- see rules *)
2:00-5:00 PM- LIVE MUSIC- OPEN MIKE (call 365-4307 to participate. Must provide your own sound system)
3:30 PM- PHOTO CONTEST JUDGING
5:00-6:00 PM or until gone – CHICKEN BBQ – donations
6:00 PM – $250 RAFFLE DRAWING
